Majorca Hotel Evacuated After Tourist Died Of Gas Poisoning

The Tropical Park Hotel in Majorca was completely evacuated after reports of the death of a tourist from carbon monoxide poisoning. Nearly 500 tourists were evacuated from the Majorca hotel. The evacuation took place after a 15-year-old German girl was reported ailing in a hotel room, near to where another tourist had died just a couple of weeks ago.
The Majorca hotel's health officials had originally stated that the Russian tourist had died of natural causes. The unnamed teenager who was taken ill was displaying typical symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. In the meanwhile, holidaymakers who were staying at the hotel have been relocated to other hotels in Majorca. Director of the Tropical Park Hotel Majorca said that the evacuation was a necessary precaution.
