There are more and more visitors choosing to take holidays in Lanzarote, and the percentage of travelers taking holiday to Lanzarote has gone up by 20% during the initial six months of this year. Most of the overseas destinations are under pressure with the number of falling tourists but the destination like Lanzarote, located at Canary Islands, has become a major tourist attraction.
Lanzarote has always been a holiday hot spot for British tourists as it attracted almost 795.765 visitors from the UK during the previous year.
These numbers can be credited to the fact that Lanzarote's travel industry has been in profit due to the current unrest in the Middle East.
The accommodation industry of Lanzarote has enjoyed a raise in bookings during the first six months of 2011.
